We all know that Michael Phelps is the greatest swimmer of all time. And for people that don't really know what I am talking about, here is a little background of his career:
He is the most successful and most decorated Olympian of all time, with a total of 28 medals. Phelps also holds the all-time records for Olympic gold medals (23), Olympic gold medals in individual events(13), and Olympic medals in individual events (16). When Phelps won eight gold medals at the 2008 Beijing Games, he broke fellow American swimmer Mark Spitz's 1972 record of seven first-place finishes at any single Olympic Games. There is one phrase that he said that resonates with me because I can use it in my swimming, professional and personal life, and I think you can too!!

Habit. As a swimmer I am used to routine and habits. I go to practice everyday, sometimes even twice or day everyday. Repetition is key for success, and it doesn't matter on what you apply this to.
I believe that the more you do something the better you are going to be at it.
If you are passionate on what you are doing then you are willing to do whatever it takes to get to your goal. This can be anything, from something small that you want in your personal life like eating healthy or try to read a little bit everyday to your dream job and career.
My advice is to take one day at a time, it's really hard to accomplish something when you just think about the end goal. Focus on the present and what you have in front of you and how is that going to take you to the end goal that you are trying to achieve. And enjoy and trust the process, learn how to love the process that is going to get you there, because if you don't enjoy it it could be miserable and hard because there is going to be bad days and there is going to be obstacle in your way. Enjoying what you do everyday it's not only going to make it easier to get to your goal, it's also going to make you happier.
I really hope this phrase will have an impact on you like it did with me, that you can applied this to your life and that you achieve anything you want!
